In order to configure your e-mail account with Outlook Express. Double click on the "Outlook Express" icon on your desktop, or main screen.

Once the program opens fully, You should see this screen. From this point, you will want to click on the "Tools" menu on the top of your window.

From the "Tools" menu, you will want to move your mouse pointer down until you see "Accounts…" and click it once to open.

Now that you've opened this box you are ready to configure your new e-mail account.

Click on "Add", and then another little window will pop up, you will need to click on "Mail…"

Your Internet Connection Wizard will pop up after clicking on the "Mail…" button. The first step is to enter your Full Name, or whatever name you would like to appear when sending e-mail messages. After typing in your full name you will want to click the "Next" button as shown.

The next step will be to enter your E-mails address, which is the userid that you signed up for with then @your-net.com, and us. i.e. userid@your-net.com. Once you've completed this step you will want to click the "Next" button as shown.

The next step is inputting your outgoing, and incoming e-mail servers, you will type just as it is above, you should have: My incoming mail server is a: POP3 server, you don't need to change that setting. Below, under incoming mail server, and outgoing mail server, you will want to type mail.your-net.com, in both, and make sure that they are in all lowercase as shown above. Once you've completed this step you will want to click "Next" to move on to the next step.

The next step will be to enter the userid and the password that signed up for with us, make sure that it is in all lower case letters. Once you've completed this step you will want to click on "Next" to move on.

The next step is what we call Friendly Name, you can name your mail account whatever you like, or you may leave it as is, which by default is mail.your-net.com. Once you've completed this step you will want to click "Next" to continue.

For the next step you will want to make sure that "Connect using my local area network (LAN)" is chosen, if you choose "Connect using my phone line" as soon as you close your e-mail program, it will disconnect you from the Internet. Once you've completed this step you will want to click "Next" to continue.

Congratulations! You've completed your e-mail account setup. Click "Finish" to continue.

After clicking "Finish", You will be brought back to the "Internet Accounts" screen, and you may click "Close" to get back to your Outlook Express window.
